Amid all this loosing and negativity is lost what we have in our hands for future. Bray is good, Worley is efficient but from what I hear Peterman is supposed to be the next level QB. Most my friends in Florida are mad that schools in Florida let him go and didn't pursue him harder. I have seen his videos and he looks like a great QB in making. He still have some developing to do but I really hope he becomes what he is capable of. Next year it will be interesting to see Worley and Peterman fight it out if Bray goes pro !!

I don't think Worley vs Peterman will be much of a fight. Worley will be a career backup at UT.

I say give Peterman a shot now. Bray has the killer instinct of a kitten.

You mean the QB who has helped us put up 35,51,20,47,44,31,13(bam a), and 35 points against SEC defenses? Yeah what a slacker. I blame our lack of a defense not Tyler. If you put up that kind of points on offense you should win PERIOD!

Not all of those points you listed were against SEC defenses. He also has had 4 drives that could have tied or taken the lead in the fourth quarter of games...he has 4 turnovers on those four drives. He will never be associated with being clutch.

My point was that when you put up that many points you should win. Could he of made better decisions on the final drive? Yes! But our defense lost those games not Bray. He has a lot to prove. And should have made some of those last minute drives count. But he's the best QB we have and gives us the best chance to win. We've seen Worley and he can't do what bray does. Peterman has been injured so we don't know what he can do but between Bray and Worley I choose Bray hands down every time. Especially since we have to score over 50 to beat teams

I can't say the guy isn't clutch he has performed well against some big time teams. But you are right he has turned it over a lot too.

But get this stat prior to this year when scoring 30points or more UT was 103-4 this year they are 3-3. You can't except your offense to have to score 40+ to win a game and play a perfect game every week.

The defense is the problem.

Never should have had to make any of those throws.....IMO

Bray > Peterman.

I've heard the fan base getting divided on a coaching situation and a quarterback controversy, but you have stated the obvious. That's like saying Bray > Fescue Grass. I haven't seen Fescue Grass play qb at TN either. Or Madonna for that matter.

I remember how some Vol fans used to complain about Casey Clausen - that is, until he left and then they realized he might have been better than he was given credit for.

The second-team QB is always a fan favorite of many fans.

I'm not including the Hail Mary's against UGA and USC. Two of the turnovers were fumbles. Look it up if you don't believe me. There is a substantial difference in his QB rating in the 4th vs the first three quarters.

Thats true. But when your D gives up ten against Kentucky you should win too. It works both ways.

For starters, Clausen won big games.

Not a great comparison.
