Watch out for Cincy

Dooley hasn't had his surprising loss yet. He may not have one, but Cincinnati could be to Tennessee as ULM was to Alabama.

Maybe we escaped it with UAB.

And I'd sure love to have the surprising win sometime soon.

I would be. They simply don't have a very good football team. They have some players who can make plays, but losing would be a disaster.

I would be too. They will be better than last year but so should we. Going from horrid in the Big East to beating UT in Knoxville would be pretty shocking, IMO.

All of you expecting an easy win are right. We're Tennessee and they're Cincinnati, so that's that.

But wasn't Oklahoma Oklahoma last year?

The only reason the Sooners won this game was because the Bearcats couldn't stop turning the ball over. It's not like Oklahoma made a bunch of mistakes that kept UC in it.

Collaros, Pead and Woods all return.

How much did they put up on Syracuse?

Collaros was playing when they put up 14 on Fresno, 10 on West Virginia, and 10 on Pittsburgh.

True, and he was terrible. They had a ton of drive killing turnovers which led to opposition scores. Which is why i've repeatedly said if they control turnovers they should be good.

Against Pitt they had 4 turnovers, Pitt scored 14 off of those. (both occurred around the Pitt 20).

WVU- 4 turnovers (1 inside WV 15), WV 7 points off turnovers.

UCONN- 5 turnovers (1 inside Uconn 10), Uconn 21 points off turnovers.

Fresno- 1 turnover, Fresno has 7 points off the turnover. Fresno also had 8 sacks in this game.

They run the spread, have a returning senior QB who was All-Big East last year, a pretty good RB, and a bunch of returning starters on a defense that was bad but young last year. Right before Florida week too. I wouldn't be shocked at all if this was a high scoring game that came down to the wire.

Looks like OP has done his work :hi:

You must really think we're terrible. You also must be predicting UT to have its worst season ever.

I WAS KIDDING. And no, Im one who is considered to need a reality check by the negavols. I am expecting a 9 win season. 8 at least, but 9 is very do-able. We won 8 last yr, but were robbed. Weve added experience and more depth to hang all game and should be just as good if not better..

You were robbed last year?
When you lose to the cats this year will you say you were robbed again?
