Watch,, it!! Health, exercise etc.

Does the Garmin alert you for text or phone calls?
Yes.

I can't respond to phone calls only see the number. You can set it like the Samsung to vibrate, sound or both. And I can only respond to texts with a list of about 10 premade responses. I can change those to whatever I want but it's limited to like 15 or 20 letters.

It looks like I'd have to go for the 255s
All the comments I read say the solar isn't worth the extra $100 unless you're outside in direct sun alot, just because its slow charging. But that's just what I've read. The ones without solar still last about a week with using the GPS about 5 hours.

And, that's using the multi satellite. There's 2 more that are supposedly really accurate that uses less battery. I've never tried them though.

Yes. Normally its the same or less and exchanges are hassle free. Except for 1 time, but that's not the norm. I like getting stuff delivered. Lol. It's like opening packages at Christmas.
I have never tried Amazon Prime. I've just tried regular Amazon.

Something else I just thought about. The Garmin App is so much better than Samsung Health. Better than any of the others I've had to. I don't know about apple, never been able to check that out.

Thanks, that's all I need. I keep my phone on silent and rely on notifications from my watch.

I woke up this morning feeling better (rest wise) than lately. Sure enough, sleep score 82 with almost 2 hours of REM sleep. Still not great sleep, but compared to the 60s I’ve been in for so long, this felt great.
Have changed your diet? I think that's a big part of my problem with stress. I watched a Garmin video about it last night.

My stress was 37 last night and a 47 score. This is typical lately..

I’ve been eating better the past two or three days compared to since mom’s passing, but I was eating healthy during and post COVID with crappy sleep. I think most of it was being home and absolutely exhausted

I'll tell you one thing. After getting that new Samsung and wearing it for 3 weeks, there was a point where I thought about switching back. The GPS was okay, and the sleep was really close on everything except deep and rem, they seemed to be backwards.

I love the reminder function, the brightness of the screen and the watch faces...blah blah blah.

Point is, I was reminded how much I appreciate the Garmin. It does what it does very well and I value the confidence I have in it more than I like the "bells and whistles" of the Samsung.

*Samsung is a great smartwatch no doubt.

I remember not long ago talking about wanting to get my HRV to 45 and keep within 43-47.

Welp...

Last night’s sleep score: 52

Had a moment where I really missed mom and I couldn’t get to sleep. Then when I did, the sleep was never good. All the coffee in the world isn’t helping. Fwiw, I knew the sleep was bad, I didn’t expect it to be that bad though.
