If I’m reading this correctly, you’ve got a ton of anaerobic credit. Are you lifting weights or ??@volfanbill
I misunderstood the High Aerobic and Anaerobic until yesterday. I had them backwards. Now that I understand which is which I'm getting them fine tuned and it's working for me.
My Samsung may have instilled more confidence in me had I dug deeper into the "sports" side of it, but I think the lack of confidence in its gps hindered my motivation.
I spent Monday and yesterday "training" according to the numbers and enjoyed the "workout" more than I ever have. No more "Low Aerobic shortage"

Anyway, Can't wait for the 965. I share this link because they explain in detail about 2 of the things the 965 has that the 955 is getting. Not sure I'll benefit from either at first, but eventually I'll be interested in tweaking my form.

Oh, gotcha. That’s an interesting breakdown. I’m good with just tracking heartbeat ranges by numbers, but I see how this can be more clear.No. Walked, jogged, ran and sprints.
I thought those range bars were in order. Anaerobic was max, High Aerobic was mid and lo Aerobic was low. But the purple and yellow are backwards.
It's all about Heart beats.
So what I've been doing for the past 4 months or more has been mostly Anaerobic (Mid range for me 130 - 141 hbpm) with a little High Aerobic (Max range 142 and up).
After working hard Monday on what I thought was High Aerobic, it stayed the same and my Anaerobic went high.
So yesterday I worked on all 3 for 3 hours and Boon!
I've read errthang Garmin explains and a whole bunch on the interwebs and I'm still confused with the actual wording in the differences. But after my experiments on how I understood it, it's on the money. At this point my understanding is all that matters. Lol.Oh, gotcha. That’s an interesting breakdown. I found with the Fitbit that it kept slightly adjusting the ranges according to how much recent exercise I had gotten. The more I exercised, the more they’d creep up, and vice versa. But I would have thought that the max rate would be a hard stop, at least for me because of age. I can see how that would be irritating.I've read errthang Garmin explains and a whole bunch on the interwebs and I'm still confused with the actual wording in the differences. Another thing that's aggravating is my watch keeps changing my Max hbpm. It should be 163 but after I change it my watch changes it back to 169. I'm sure it's another setting I'm missing but that can make everything off. Not by a significant amount, but still off.
It should be by age that's why I think I may have entered the wrong date or age or something on setup when I first got it. I keep meaning to check that but I also keep forgetting.I found with the Fitbit that it kept slightly adjusting the ranges according to how much recent exercise I had gotten.
