I love watches. Is anyone else out there a big fan of watches, if so what do you have? I bought a Tag Auquaracer and I also have a Omega Seamaster.

I've tried to tame the watch beast.

I currently also have an Omega Seamaster (coaxial), an old Eterna Kontiki, a Hamilton Khaki and a Revue Thommen Airspeed Chronograph (quartz).

My favorite brand for a while is Oris - great styles, great fit and finish and cheaper than Omega.

How do you like the Omega?

Little bit of a watch freak here. If you're serious, you might check out the Lange & Sohne line. The Lange 1 is the sweetest watch in the world IMO.

I roll with a Tissot. Where does that rank, not really a watch fanatic, so don't really know. Is it too low to even mention?

Very nice clean look, I loved the rose gold. What does one of those run?

I'm gonna buy a Nixon watch pretty soon... Not super-nice, I know, but they're alright and have a verry different, cool look.

I've got an older Seamaster, calibre 1002, from the 70s. It's a pretty good watch but I do not have an autowinder. Lately I've been wearing an Invicta 2022 for daily use. I like it because it is big and chunky but made from cast aluminum so very lightweight.

Tag Heuer 2000 Quartz. Stainless and gold with a stainless face. I bought my wife a smaller version all stainless with a blue face. It's been 4 and a half years and we both love them. From the day I got it it has been off of my arm only once when I had to replace the battery. Sleep, showers, swimming and sex and I still know what time it is.

I should also say that I did not wear a watch for a good 10 years. I've got a clock on my phone, computer, desk, landline phone display, car radio, etc. The watch just seemed like an anachronism. I can't really explain what made me start wearing one again

Tissot famous name in watches. As Finevol stated, they make all levels.

Most of the auto's out there used the same basic guts. Some brands add or modify the movement but the brands are basically providing the style, design, assembly etc.

In other words, if you want a mechanical watch and like the style go for it. Not much difference in movements until you pass the $1000 mark.
