Waste of time to be upset

It certainly helps the offense when we rush for -1 yards. Or if you wanna take away JG sacks, 39 yards. We can totally be successful rushing for 39 yards.

Remember all those huge holes our offensive line made for Gray and Chandler? Yeah, me neither. Blame JG all you want, I’ve been crushing him his whole career, however we are not leading at the half without him. Uga forced us to be one dimensional. They shut down our “TVA” offensive line from the very beginning. They won the battle at the line. It’s not coaching, their guys are just better than our guys. Accept it. Beat Kentucky and hopefully we can go 7-3 and recruit more Mims and TIDs of the world.

I would have been ok with another qb coming in, what could it hurt? But I wouldn't have sent in Maurer, it would have ended his career likely. And the results wouldn't have been different.

Maybe...maybe not.
We won't know because he didn't put him in.
Same for Bailet or Shrout.

Who knows...

JG turnovers led directly to 20 points for UGA.
Stop....

“Almost didn’t have a season”

I’m watching football.....I can amen to that!

however at some point.....after enough bad losses.......after losing to good teams enough.......after being bottom feeders to middle of the road for long enough........at some point.....it will be time to be upset.

many aren’t there.....that’s fine......but I am there.

What amazes me is how mad and butt hurt I feel after the loss today..........you would think after two decades of experience I would be able to handle things better.

You love UT.
It's natural.

But man, just understand this is where we're at. It'll be alright

Fair enough, I didn't see them but this could be right. But what I am sure of is many of those plays JG never had a chance to make a read. And one thing I can say about him is he isn't afraid to stick with it and take a hit when there's a play. But that's not what was going on, there was a guy on him before schedule and no qb can overcome that.
Yes they can. They can move off their spot. I’m not trying to pile on JG because I really do like him but he got away from moving in the pocket in the second half and that’s what made the o line look worse. A qbs playing style severely effects an o lines ability. How can we blame them for the pressure when Georgia was playing so close to the LOS?

I passed that point long ago.
Can't be angry at something once you understand why it is.

I like Pruitt. He's done a great job building.
Great schematics...

We'll beat Kentucky. And maybe Bama. Their defense still sucks....

If there were receivers open and JG had time to make the throw but didn't then I'd stand corrected. But I don't think that's what was happening. And if it was then we have much larger problems than qb's with the program and multiple offensive personnel possibly up and including the head coach need to go.

That has a tendency to happen when you know you're only going to have 2 to 3 seconds to get rid of the ball.
You only need two seconds.
He didn't audible. He didn't use his check down. He didn't escape the pocket and MOVE IT .MOVE THE POCKET.

For you to even mention pressure and seconds means you don't understand the importance of controlling the defense with your eyes...

Because JG didn't turn the ball over...
😑 (DEEP BLUE FONT)

You missed the entire point!! Bailey Shrout ANYBODY else needed a chance at that point! This is not new....
No you’re forgetting the point. We were one dimensional bc that o line couldn’t do a damn thing. It would’ve likely been worse with anyone else back there. This isn’t the mizzou defense. The game plan was to rush the ball and set up short third downs. That was never going to happen after Chaney realized how uga’s defense was dominating our o line from the first offensive series. It never changed. They (the coaches) clearly did not think turnover machine Mauer and Bailey (sitting 2 weeks for covid19) would have any chance of success against uga’s defense. We were lucky to be in that game mid way through the third. I’m not a JG defender but his deep passes in the first half were exceptional. Unfortunately, uga adjusted and our luck ran out. The o line lost that game, if you can’t see it then I can’t help you anymore.

They didn't adjust.

JG froze....

It's really that simple...

It’s up to Pruitt to create his own legacy. Not us. I gotta say his loyalty to one qb isn’t helping obviously but I do believe he’s got the program headed in the right direction. It’s his qb evaluation that has me puzzled. As for JG, he earned that reputation fairly. It’s well documented that he has open receivers fairly often and takes sacks instead.

Tell that to the rbs running for little to no gain bc the OL was dominated. All we’ve heard all offseason and the first two games is about the OL. Do you just give them a complete pass? We all knew that JG couldn’t win this game on his shoulders. Somehow he lifted the team up in the first half but we were hoping the OL would show up. They never did.
