This will help recruiting..

I would be SHOCKED if any recruit read a newspaper.

Twitter. Facebook. Instagram. These are the news sources for the youth today.

Long gone are the days where facts and objective stories were written. Here are the days where you can read whatever news supports your theory - and because you see words written that reflect what you believe - your opinion now becomes factual in your head.

Things like this is how/why kids think they are above a program and politicians (BOTH OF THEM) think they are above the law.

And people trust the propaganda media for information? How does one player leaving a program equal a player revolt?

These people need to be getting calls from UT's legal counsel immediately.

I wouldn't call that guess uneducated at all - more like keen observation guided by some good ole historical perspective. At least when we were kids with deviant ideas, it was fairly obvious and there were adults around to put us back on track.

The article said that Hurd was upset at how he was being used in the scheme. It is regrettable that he feels he needs to leave the team, but I am not happy with how he has been used either. How many times do they have to run him up the middle (on a hand off that takes a half an hour to develop) on first down only to see him get clobbered at the LOS? I hate the offense this team runs.

I would rather see him run it up the middle than run a stretch play and bouncing it outside like he has elite speed or something

I see they ranked America as the 4th best country in the world --- maybe they should relocate

Not to turn this political, but other than blind patriotism, can you give any reason why they should say higher? It's certainly not in education, life expectancy, environmental performance.

Don't use logic. Baby Boomers still think we are the best at everything because they inherited the best economy in world history this side of the Silk Road being a thing. They can't comprehend we are in the mess we are not because of Millenials, or even Gen X people, but themselves and their horrible economic policies and voting patterns. They're running scared because technology has already passed most of them by and their notions of "morality" and "family values" (aka racism, xenophobia, and anything anti gay or non christian) no longer exist in a world trying to move ahead from terrible events in human history and making people as equal as we can in how they are treated and what their basic human rights are.
