No secret that Warren thought Stephens was the better QB, and let his feelings be known. Since Warren left, the offense has been close to---if not--great. Coincidence?

Yes. One player who played about 5 plays a game being gone is not the reason we are doing good offensively. What is with all the stupid wild theories on here. We are playing good because we have a QB who's finally playing with confidence and we played one of the worst teams in the country yesterday which is going to help. We will continue to be good offensively but to think one guy who could barely get on the field all year was somehow holding our whole offense back is just stupid.

Sometimes one bad apple in the locker room can hold the entire team back, even if that player is not playing much, IMO. Remeber Kelly "the Future" washington?

Since Warren got booted, receivers have been playing lights out. Warren never got on the field, but he was still at practice and on the sidelines during the games. Who knows how much he could've been running his mouth in those situations. Since his dismissal, Jones and Moore have looked like a great receiving tandem. Before they looked like they hadn't really bought in to the new system. Message sent, buy in or leave.

I think you might be a little stupid. Nothing rips up a locker room like a QB controversy especially when half the team supports one guy vs. the other. Luckily it didn't get to that point and we got rid of the cancer before it spread. Think before u post, Huey.

I think Warren being gone might have helped us some but in all reality I think it just looks like it has so much because the next week Crompton come out and played lights out and hadn't looked back since then....I will say this though, its a shame Warren decided to not put his big boy pants on and play football becaues the kid is gifted

One rotten apple spoils the barrel. Its possible. This game extends beyond the field, its in the locker room, at practice and in the hotel. If his attitude was poor, then it could in fact have had a detrimental effect on this team. It may not have been his lack of production holding this team back, but merely his attitude. One that was removed, it very well could have helped this team immensely. Bottom line however is regardless of what it was, its gone, and I can only hope that this team continues to grow together.

Along with that, who was the little white guy wearing #1 on that kickoff coverage late in the game?

I don't speculate on crap I dont know about. No one on the team wanted to see Stephens play at this point in the year because no one likes Nick Stephens. Sorry, its the truth. Warren was never a thorn to the rest of the team, he just was lazy and therefore cut. If our receivers cant perform because a lazy waste of talent that they are ahead of is somehow keeping all of them from playing well, then they should follow him out the door. Our receivers being lights out has a whole lot to do with scheming and finally getting into a groove and nothing with being minus one lazy receiver. Know you stuff before you call someone else stupid.

Edit:
By the way where the h*ll is this QB controversy that I somehow missed? Stephens has played like crap all year in practice, there was no controversy.

READ THE THREAD. It asks a question--to which your response was stupid. So you analyzed and the best you could come up with was stupid? Hmmmm.

Looks like you are out-numbered. Everyone is stupid -I guess.

Warren made no secrets that he wanted Stephens instead of Crompton. He wouldn't play with Crompton and tried to get ALL the receivers to side with him, very childish I know but true. Part of the reason receivers werent getting open was bc of this and he almost turned GJ on this as well. Sorry if this isn't common knowledge.

How about the NY Giants? Tiki Barber did not like Eli Manning and was always bad mouthing him to teammates and the press. Teammates and press hated Eli. Eli lost his confidence and could not do anything right on the field and was probably one of if not the worse quarterbacks in the NFL at the time. Tiki left the team and all of a sudden Eli was a completely different quarterback that led the Giants to a Super Bowl win.

Source? Where is this common knowledge? Are we bringing up stuff from last season? I'm not saying Warren didn't cause problems but if you think the reason our receivers are playing good is because Brandon Warren is gone than that's just stupid. So is this how it went:
Gerald Jones goes out for a pass, drops it, and dammit that Brandon Warren character made him do it.

I think it could also be he wore the #1 jersey, they moved him from TE to WR (more glamorous position), and pumped his name out there early. When he continued to have a bad attitude and booted him, I think it was a wake up call for all the others that were not that highly touted.

Come on guys....put the gloves on and get in the ring, settle it there.

IMHO....bad attitudes will permeate throughout the team, at practice, and in game situations....so Yes, Warren's attitude would likely carry over onto the field and even inside of JC's head.

JC has worked through a lot, and at this stage has his A game going.....but, as well, I am really impressed with the great hands by the receivers. They are making the plays! Great to see.

I am sure that it helps a little, but having a healthy group of WR helps as well. Jones and Moore both looked like they were not 100% when they returned as compared to the Georgia week and beyond.
