Or, it could be that Pruitt has given Chaney complete control over the offense and it is Chaney that is stubbornly and constantly fielding JG. Either way, it is a failure on the coach's part. However, I sense the former scenario rather than the latter, but this is pure speculation on my part.

I wish they would show the reactions of Pruitt
and the coaches upstairs after the two interceptions.

I don’t feel like Chaney is out scheming anybody. I also don’t feel like he adjusts in game.

Maybe Chaney would be better off on the sidelines during the game where he could talk to the quarterbacks face to face.

They complained about Bobo and are still complaining. Bama fans complained about Kiffin at times.
I think people who aren't ecstatic about Chaney think people that like him are. Truth is, he's one of the better SEC OCs out there who was more than happy to come back. I keep waiting for this long list of OCs that are so much better than him and so far the negavols hace produced nothing.

Lol y’all are adorable.

Chaney is an offensive guru and we are lucky to have him. 3 quick points come to mind just off the top of my head without need for a breakdown:

1) Chaney’s offense was electric for us under Dooley.

2) Georgia’s offense fell off miserably the year after Chaney left.

3) Nate Peterman went from deer in headlights to NFL QB thanks to Chaney.

Quit being emotional. Chaney isn’t the problem.

Chaney is a good OC. He’s had a solid career and did good things at Georgia before coming here.

However, it bothered me when we hired him. We effectively doubled his salary to do the same job he had at UGA. He was also moving back to be with family in the area.

Normally these are good things except I get the feeling that Chaney came home to retire. I think he’s planning to bank his sweet paycheck and call it a day. No further ambitions to be HC or even get a better job, as we’re already making him one of the highest paid coordinators in CFB.

All these things are a recipe for complacency.

Chaney is handicapped atm. Let's see how the offense runs whenever we can get a capable QB in. Technically Chaney didn't recruit Bailey, he wanted King more. Salter will be the first QB he will have to work with that is "his guy".
