Been following for 25 plus years and I know of no other player that flaked out to the level that he did. If he showed up ready to play during the SC game we would have won. Period. Disgusting.

Referring to historically weird actions and decisions outside of crimes made by significant players.

The simple answer is no, I'm sure there are others. Let's move on from him. People quit...in business, relationships, etc

Let's keep it moving

You could say that about 95% of the roster and coaching staff as well.

It will be interesting what happens with him. I have my doubts he will make it to the NFL now.

Not while Kelley Washington existed.

Here is a story that John Pennington used to tell about him. During the Arkansas game in 2002 he was tipping off our plays and the Ark staff caught it (and even told the ESPN sideline reporter). Whenever a run was called Washington would just stand straight up with his hands by his side. When a pass was called he would take a normal receiver's stance and lean over. Randy Sanders told him what he was doing and to stop; Washington did it again on the next series and was taken out of the game. On the sideline following a change in possession, Witten threatened to kick his a$$. He finally did stop it.

I had never heard that story, thanks. Interesting the career arcs between The Future and Witten. :wink2:

I would say Kelly Washington, Da'Rick Rogers, Bryce Brown and Arian Foster. Then you can mention Hurd in the next tier of flakiness. He had two solid years at least.

So, you don't want anyone bringing up the BB gun armed robbery attempt with the Prius getaway car having a bag of weed on the floor, right?

Preston Williams is one to mention. At least Hurd helped UT win games while he was here, PW never did.
