They all looked like ties to me with the exception of Jakob using Austin Smith as a push broom.

I can't believe Smith was ever up to 260 or being considered for DL. He looks like a LB all the way.
Needs to work on his lower body and get his pads low.
Jakob is a physical specimen and it's a shame he wasn't left at DE.

Very excited for Quay. He looks to have taken a huge step physically and will be a contributor at DT.

Smith could play DE, I don't know why he'd need to be 260, that's ridiculous, but we needed ends and he's got the athleticism to give OTs problems.

Oh yeah, Jacob Johnson looks like a real football player, gulp. I would not have thought that TE was the position for someone with his background, but maybe he has really learned the offence, also how to run patterns, block defenders, and catch passes. I think we need this guy this year, and he might be there for us. Would be cool so see Jacob shine.

Go Vols!!! Beat Gators, Dawgs, bammers, and everything!

He had the looks of a player who could do some very good things for this team.

Sounds like he has made great strides at TE. Too bad he is a SR. He looked good yesterday.

However, we could probably use the depth at DE right now, especially with Phillips injury concerns.

I think Jakob will be used mostly as a blocking TE, but man he would make a great DE too. I honestly don't see him making a huge impacting catching and running but hey, you never know.

Whats the matter with you?
This is a message board where we like to talk about Tennessee football.

Gee freakin wiz dude, are you ok?

Maybe The same should be said about you. You really get excited about a 1 on 1 blocking drill.. iits an indicator of nothing Iand will have no impact on wins and losses
