Warren dismissed (merged)

oh ok so from what I can gather , He and Wilson had some words, Haven't heard about any other coachs in public, so this must have also gotten heated , behind closed doors also...................hm its ashame he does have alot of talent........but staff has alot of other issues........there trying to play David Copperfield with nothing but air and a few true freshmen! by the way I think there making a decent show---Thanks Fulmer!

Just another example of why the constant call for UT to recruit more local kids is garbage.

Because if Warren was from anywhere else this wouldn't have happened. Come on, hat.

All of you idiots clamoring for Kiffin's head on this are grossly misinformed.

I told Eric that if Kiffin heard what had happened with Warren and Wilson he would have sent him straight to the locker room. When your teammates have to separate you from your coach, you gotta know you are in deep sh**. If you weren't pulling your weight to begin with, you might as well find a hobby.

I think you have to applaud Kiffin and co for this. If they had let warrens rant go they could have lost control of this locker room and that would be disastrous, just ask CPF. Warren may not have a chance to play next year anyway with all the talent we have coming next year imo.

I never said they would both start, I would argue that both slots will be open for competition, and that if Jones gets some chemistry with the new QB he'll have the best chance to start. Then you have to consider a guy like Teague growing in the system might take the other spot. But I'm just saying, in the depth chart I would bet that at least one of the incoming freshmen would rest above Brandon Warren's name, primarily due to his lack of work ethic. I just don't think he *wants* to try, and I don't think it'll work with a new quarterback either.

I agree about Bray, I think a JUCO starts here next year.

I feel he's getting Laimison ready for next season since Stephens can't beat Crompton out now for the job.

OUCH! Was this all because of the sideline incident in the last game? If so, suspending him for the rest of the season seems awfully harsh! Especially with Oregon's running back getting a second chance to play again after punching an opposing player and getting involved with the Boise State fans!!! Bottom line, whether you like the kid or not, we need him! Did you see the amount of dropped passes last game?!?!?
Oregon will be sorry for that move......He will let the team down again....
Looks like Fulmer might should have got rid of Warren last year....Seems like Kiffin went as far as he could with Warren...When you are rebuilding a team the first thing you have to do, besides recruiting top notch players with character, is instill discipline...You can't have someone in the doghouse anyway have to be separated from a position coach during the game...It disrespects the coach and the team...It's a waste of talent but move on and look forward.....
Kudos to Kiffin and staff...

Yet another sign that there is only one boss.... It is a good sign of things to come.

I think the warren rant was a little more severe than Gerald jones and it didn’t look like Jones talked back to coaches as bad as warren did.

There is more to the story. they didn't suspend him for the entire season for talking back to coaches in the heat of the game.

Apparently Warren's career at UT is over. He will not be back for bowl game or next year like first reported.
