People who have kept up with Trump have to realize that the guy rarely says anything he actually means. There is always an ulterior motive. It was like that with his interactions with Zelenskyy and similarly with his tweet now. I am pretty sure it is direct at Putin to try to get him to negotiate just like the anti-Zelenskyy crap was direct at him to negotiate.

Trump is the most uninformed president in the history of this country.

I'm honestly curious as to what format they were finally able to present the information in a way that the he would willingly consume, and what was offered to him that he finally saw some semblance of personal gain, to the point that he'd publicly make that statement.

He won two elections. After this recent election cycle, I have learned not to underestimate the guy. I don't like how he does things. He is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. However, I have learned to not write him off either.

Lol, no. He doesn't attend security briefings, and won't consume daily NSI briefs in written format.

This is not some 5--D chess move, he's just willfully ignorant about most topics that don't directly affect him.
