War in Ukraine

So do people think the drone misadventure was an accident, or intentional ??
Probably unintentional, though I think Russia has been sending drones to ukraine through polish air space prior to this. Russia does want war with the rest of Europe however. Oil and gas revenues will take a big hit from the green economy, cant let that happen.

Do you think they'll to invade Poland?
Russia would be really dumb to invade anyone else right now, so I don't think they would invade. They need to take care of Ukraine before they go spitting into the wind.

I think the Poles have a short fuse, and they aren't going to tolerate catching some strays from Russia.

what will be interesting to see, is how they react if this is also because of Ukraine.

intentional to look accidental. I don't think it was an attack. I think it was testing the defenses. like they do with bombers all the time off of other nations coastlines. just in this case drones are harder to detect, and close enough to use.

if it was 1 or 2, I would say accidental. 19 is too many to believe at once. from what I have seen its not like these fell within a kilometer of the border and could be plausibly explained away.

WTH do you think will happen to Russia's oil and gas revenues if they start a war with Europe?

The "green economy" is the same lie they were talking about when I lived there 30 years ago, which are being reversed due to reality.

Russia can't conquer Ukraine, what makes you think they could conquer the rest of Europe?
Russia is waiting the US to implode, which shouldn't take more than a year or two with (their boy) trump in charge. Europe's militaries are less advanced than hours and underfunded since we've been the leading force in nato since wwii. Also there are no nuclear powers Europe east of france.

I would say that is generally true, expect for Poland. Poland is what Russia fears the most. not on the "they are going to take Moscow" front, but ideologically. One of the old warsaw states strong enough to stand up to them on their own to make it bloody enough where no-one buys the USSR crap anymore. The key piece of defiance that would embolden the other warsaw states.

Poland is what Ukraine could have been if they had joined NATO/the west over 40 years ago, and decided "never again". similar population to Ukraine, almost 5x the GDP, and the largest by percentage defense spending.

they have been rapidly expanding their MIC, and has really focused on key areas, like missile and drone defense.
