I believe this is a rough estimate probably inflated around 15-20%. The main thing is that it allows you to track potentially large swings in momentum. For example, if you see a huge up tick in casualties it's a good indicator that a major offensive by one side or the other has started.

Putin hoped it would be over in two weeks. He learned what happens to a bully when they pick the wrong victim.

I agree that it never was our problem and that we should never have gotten involved.
