Free The Ukrainian Children Stolen By Russia

This week saw the third anniversary of Vladimir Putin’s “special military operation” in Ukraine. Known to the rest of the world as Putin’s “full-scale military invasion” of the nation.

Although the Ukrainians managed to stop the Russian forces’ conquering their whole country in the early weeks of the war, around a fifth of the country remains occupied by the Russian military. The human costs of that are unimaginable.

One outrage that is finally being talked about — raised by President Trump last week — is the Ukrainian children who have been abducted or otherwise held captive by the Russian army since the war began.

It should now be clear that Russia’s abuse of the Ukrainian population — and in particular its children — must be front and center of any ceasefire negotiation.

The abducted children all had the misfortune to be behind what are now Russian lines, in the eastern parts of the country that Russia still occupies.

Some 20,000 children were taken away into Russia. Some were orphans, others were separated from their families.

They will be raised indoctrinated into Putin’s vision, speaking Russian, not Ukrainian. Many will be recruited into his army. It is a war crime.

Pretty much where things stand, we'll have to see what Trump has in mind in a few weeks. Trump is trying to offload it on the EU, the EU is trying to get the US back into the mix. The EU isn't serious, so its up to Trump at this point. I guess we will see if Trump gave them 3 weeks or not in due course.

We aren't $38 trillion in debt because of NATO spending. Overseas military bases only account for $55 billion annually in the defense budget, and our NATO common fund obligation is ~$690 million plus whatever we spend on our own NATO training exercises or deployments.
in the last 34 years, since the USSR fell, those two numbers alone are right at 2 trillion. thats not insignificant.

I keep telling everyone. Trump is about image, once he sees a plus for Trump he will change his tune to whatever he wants. he has no ideological draw either to Putin or away from Ukraine.
Everyone is about image, that's like saying we all breath air. Its very clear he is about as anti-war that has been in there for 4+ decades. Not saying he wouldn't.... as he is right now bombing the same terrorist groups dementia joe was just helping a month ago. There is no easy offramp to this, meaning Europe and the Mad Jester need the war to continue.

As far as I am concern, just Trump dropping funding/support is success in my book, as long as he doesn't reverse in mass than thumbs up. (war is over for us) I could see him saying, well, da pootin if you don't listen we'll send troops or something but at the end of the day.... I think people will think its a success by just withdrawing.

Trump is nicer than me because I would just tell all the wussy Europeans to go **** themselves. But he apparently wants to save some of these dumb ass Ukrainians, and that is okay I guess. There isn't anything else for the U.S. to do, not really. Clearly Europe is trying to get us to do their work for them and continue the war indefinitely, for what they are largely responsible for.

We of the right cannot forget that Reagan the essential Republican in the Cold War who at the Berlin Wall challenged Gorbachev to tear down this wall. We must remember that George H.W. Bush stated directly to Saddam Hussein that "this aggression will not stand". In them, we saw the ethos of protecting the interests of democracies against autocracies. In the same way, we must stand for democracy and against tyranny. We must stand against Russia and against China.

Good luck with that. Pretty sure your purportedly alpha male virile GOP senators and representatives have gone full eunuch on you.

Well if you see the exchange...he didn't change his position. He clearly didnt want to answer the question. The midget did what he told him, so its deferred for now. If he doesn't assist in diplomacy, I would expect it again. He actually did a number on starmer he brought up Russia gate....same thing.

This is some next level mental gymnastics. Trump clearly called Z a dictator not all that long ago and now he's pretending like it never happened. Or are you suggesting he truly doesn't remember? I don't know which is worse.

I never said he isn't pretending he didn't say it, I would say that exactly what he was doing.... "move on". The only one doing next level mental gymnastics is you. He clearly didn't want to talk about it i.e. negotiations.

This really isn't that complex. 😂

So he is lying, got it. Maybe he shouldn't put himself in these situations by saying dumb **** in the first place.

Its called, let's not talk about it. Just like right now you are lying to everyone on the forum by pretending like you don't know this.

I'm pretty sure everyone here is familiar with your contortions by now to defend all things Russia. I'm comfortable with my assessment of the situation. You keep trying to explain it away but, like you said, everyone knows.

Now you are pretending like you don't know what we were talking about and now are onto.... "I defend all things Russia". Under your stupid definition, lying.

You keep trying to explain it away but, like you said, everyone knows.

Only an insane person wouldn't know.

Why would I go around and deny things at random from a nut?

You didn't deny you were lying.

Trump is lying, pretending like he never called Z a dictator because he can't keep up with his own motor mouth. You can excuse it and explain it however you like. That's the fact. I'm not arguing a fact with a Putin sycophant. You guys are well too versed in that.

Absolutely, if he is trying to get a deal done, perfect common sense. DUH DUH DUH. You're insane, so you won't get that.
