War in Ukraine

This is really hard to believe and Trump taking Putin's word. Unless some Ukrainian drone outfit went rogue, I'm not buying it.
Exactly. So what's the big f****** deal about Ukraine targeting Putin's homes. He has numerous homes and it's a f****** war.

😜

If I recall correctly, Russia tried to take out Z in the early stages of the war, but the agents trying to execute that were killed by the Ukrainians.

I'm pretty sure there is a rule of war somewhere against all of this trying to kill leaders of countries and such, but who the hell is going to enforce that anyways???

“Everyone still wants to take Odesa. It’s a common opinion: People want to go to Odesa on vacation again,”

This quote says it all. Average Russian citizens are just brainwashed.

But while people said they want to see an end to the conflict, some also spoke of their desire to keep fighting and the need to end the war under the “right” conditions.

“Everyone still wants to take Odesa. It’s a common opinion: People want to go to Odesa on vacation again,” Gribova said.
“For us, this is a civil war between Russians and Russians who have forgotten a bit that they are Russians, that’s all.”

I have no idea, but that is what was written about 3+ years ago on this thread.

> It appears the Ukraine is and will continue to be the biggest loser until there is an out or it is wiped off the map
> Europe will eventually be the next biggest loser, they're on deck... most likely in the very early collapse stage (will take time)
> U.S. will mostly win untouched
> Russia will most likely continue to gain in influence and many countries will have no choice to be to seek their assistance in the future, it will have cost them a great deal in lives

Multi-pole world which Europe isn't really a major player.

Will Trump pull a Maduro on Vlad?

He doesn't have to, if Venezuela and then Iran (which is pushing for the Shah) both fall in Trump's lap, he has the oil reservoirs to undercut Russia and cut off Russia's flow of funding. I am wondering if some of the Venezuela actions are tied into finding a way to break Russia.

Honestly, Russia is borderline turning into a vassal state of China anyways. From what I understand, Chinese companies are buying up everything in Russia right now and have control of most of the economy.

Why don't you just cut off China from the financial system?

If everyone is your enemy, eventually you are in big trouble.

China is basically the major rival of the USA. You can't cut them. You can cut Russia but not China. Even if USA cuts China, you still have most of the world trading with them. China is too big to be cut from the system. The key difference is that China was FAR SMARTER than Russia. For all the credit Putin gets, he was an imbecile. Back in 2000, Russia had the educated population and industry to become like China (a major manufacturing hub for everything) but they didn't and they got all dependent on oil to make money. This was a major failure.

China has always wanted Eastern Siberia back, I wouldn't be surprised if they take it sometime in the next 20 years.

True, but you don't just start invading, bombing, coup, etc. every country that doesn't do your business... I would think countries would be flocking to China. Why?

China doesn't play soft politics well. A great example is India. India wanted friendly relationships with China in the 1940s and 1950s and China was very aggressive with them about the border and fighting over some useless mountain regions. Now they are geopolitical rivals.

Nations work with China because they have to, not because they want to. Nations, sometimes, work with USA because they actually want to.

Going back to Russia, look up the current dependency the Russian economy has with China. If China cut Russia, it would collapse.
