Help Wanted: athletic young male to play quarterback position for the University of Tennessee Knoxville. With new supervision in place we are looking for the best and brightest young man with lots of potential for long term future. We offer a great mentoring program with a superbowl winning quarterback, every so often. You must be able to throw a laser accurate football to a reciever that is more than 10 yards away form the line of scrimmage, work hard, know the system, and have an intelligence much higher than the current staff of quarterbacks. We are looking for the best of the best 4*-5* ranking would best preferred along with a strong arm and no pierceings (new bosses rule). Be ready for competition and understand that at the first sign of trouble most of your clients (fans) will turn on you at the drop of a hat. Please have thick skin and just beat the gators. No compensation will be offered after all this is not Alabama football, this is TN, and remember "Its Great to be a Tennessee Vol" I said "Its.........

The staff is looking at some new prospects this week including at least 2 who are used to working under center- Stephen Kaiser and Jonny Miller.

Heck, we are evaluating about 10-15 QBs this Spring. Let's see: Mason, Heaps, Brennan, Kaiser, Legaux, Scroggins, Montana, Smith, Hendrix, Green, Stone, Brunetti, Ballard, Godfrey, Waters, Trickett, Thompson, Nance, Brosius and there's probably a few more. That comes out to 19.

Recruiting qbs will go better this season as long as a) we sign one

and

b) we don't tell any 5-star qbs who like UT and want to come here that they would be better going elsewhere cause they won't work here...
