the problem is the interior of the '92 Sahara is quite different from even the standard '92 (especially with the half doors being harder to find) but the green/beige interior is the hardest to track down, i wouldnt mind getting an off colour and canibalizing junk cars for the right parts but to do that you got to get the other jeep for a better price or the price of the replacement parts will kill the project
plus it seems like everyone modified their jeeps in some way that make them unfit to turn into a JP jeep.....but its a work in progress, already tracked down some of the odd parts that go on it that are no longer in prduction, the only hurdle now is getting a fair price on the jeep istelf that i wouldnt have to spend too much more on to modify
^that pic is from another guy who made one and as research has showed theres quite a few guys doing this project over the years:

u dont need a sahara edition to pull that off. Just buy a tan top, a light bar and a winch, and maybe the side step. All that stuff can be bought online at an aftermarket store like "Steel Horse"
The only difference I can remember on a Sahara edition is that it had a tan top, the upgraded 5 spoke wheels, a tan/green interior with pockets on the back of the seats, the doors had storage space in them, a Tan spare tire cover, and a red stripe along the side with a "Sahara Edition" sticker.
Real Jeep Wranglers have round headlights. The rectangular headlights were a design mistake that took Chrysler far too long to correct.
Not to bash your opnion of Cherokee's but we had a 91 and donated it with 280K miles on it, and was a really good car. I had several friends with late 80's to early 90s Cherokee's all with well over 200K miles on them. The inline six was/is a beast of a motor. The late 90s thru 2000's cherokee's I can not vouch for
