And to go from forcing a punt to a fifteen years gift does not change momentum in one second?
Read my post again. Didn't say it didnt change or stop monentum. The fact is they let them drive 60 yards and get a touchdown. I just dont want them using a momentum swing as an excuse for not getting off the field.

It should have never been a penalty. Those types of plays happen multiple times in every college football game. Absolutely ridiculous officiating.
More Alabama home cooking!! Not only team in SEC gets ref breaks Florida. Even though the game was in SC yesterday you would have thought it was in the Swamp with the officiating. It seems we have a problem with officiating in the SEC!!!!

When you're a bottom tier team playing AT the top team's stadium those stupid calls get called. Bama wouldn't be called for that 100 out of 100 times. Sad!

The SEC offices being in Birmingham pretty much says it all. Alabama gets that home cooking from the refs even when they aren't at home. Phantom holding calls against us that take away touchdowns and unnecessary rudeness ( it certainly wasn't rough) penalties that give them a first down are just back breakers. I agree with Pruitt, he wondered why it was that every time we got near their end zone the flags started coming out when we weren't getting penalties outside the red zone.

Surely he noticed this pattern while he was on the Tuscaloosa sidelines? Is he really surprised?

No way in hell that DT personal foul should have been called. Way too minor a transgression (if at all) and in way too big a moment. 4th down to 1st down...to touchdown. Officials have to use better discretion than that.

I just watched it again for the first time. It was a worse call than I thought. We still should have stopped them. They ran it down our throats. Tennessee is just not good enough to overcome bad calls.

Stupid on the part of the UT player as his actions were plainly intentional. No problem with the refs calling a penalty on this.

As much as I disagree with this I can respect it. However, the Bama player should have been called as well, no? You should be absolutely livid at the double standard here.
