One of Hambone's accomplishment's this year, not selling out Neyland

You can put some blame on him for the rest of the season, but it's hard to sell out a Thanksgiving weekend game. Next year's schedule will be difficult to sell out as well with all the cupcakes on the schedule (Montana, Buffalo, MTSU).

True, but there are 70,000 more available seats for this weeks game compared to the Vandy game.

I would recommend anyone worried about it to just buy the returned student tickets though, that are posted in that link. Good lower level seats for face value. Back when I lived up north the Thanksgiving weekend game was usually the only game I was able to go to and routinely got seats in the student section.

Things may have changed but years ago I bought student tickets on the street and they wouldn't let me in without a student ID. We had to bribe one of the gate ticket takers to get in...lol...Like I said that was about 10 yrs ago and ever since I havent even bothered with student tickets. Things may have changed.

I was talking about when students return tickets and then they resell them, thus you don't need an ID. Getting someone in with an actual student ticket can be difficult but can be done :)

This I know. We picked the shadiest looking gate guy we could find and handed him a $20 with the tickets..:) It was actually more than 10 yrs ago. It was 1996 we beat bama 20-13. Was a great game.
