I am in Charlotte and am wanting to take my 9 year old to the game Saturday. It was his first year playing tackle ball and I wanted to reward him for his hard work. Unfortunately I have a work thing that may not get ironed out in time to plan ahead. If we can get to Knoxville Saturday what are the odds of getting tickets on the street? I would hate to drive 8 hours to watch the game at Calhouns.

You should be fine. Not that many students will be there either due to Thanksgiving so plenty of tickets/ seats should be available.

This is what I was told about the Vandy/TN game too. There were people who got turned away, and a few found tickets as the first quarter ended. No telln where you'll end up..

There are tickets a few student return tickets at the box office http://ev9.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncomm...linkID=utenn&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=

You can also find some on ebay and a few on craigslist.

There are a lot more tickets to sell at Neyland compared to Baby Neyland. There will be plenty of scalpers. Now, I won't tell you exactly what you'll have to pay, but you'll WILL have the opportunity to purchase them.

Yea you'll get tickets at face, maybe less. There was only 96,000 and change at the Ole Miss game. I know this one means a little more but dont think it'll be close to a sell out.

Try stubhub.com. You can get some good deals there. For instance: 2 tix to UAB in section AA for 20 apiece.

i've been to plenty of uk/ut games where i was shocked at the lack of tickets, their prices, and the amount of people who show up. it's the last game after all. don't be so sure that you'll get them at or below face.

if it wasnt a holiday tickets might be a little tougher... but lots of students MIA and turkey day weekend will allow for more availability.... i'd expect tickets to be not to hard to find..... however there may be a run because in all honesty 50 degrees is a heat wave consindering some of the KY games there have been in the past!?

Happy hunting. The Vandy game in Nashville was ridiculous. You would have thought it was the National Title game. We stood outside the fence and watched it on the jumbotron.

Those equating the Vandy game situation in Nashville with the ticket availability at Neyland are clueless.

One of Hambone's accomplishment's this year, not selling out Neyland

Come on man we all know it's the economy:crazy: Financial genius Hamilton has already explained it to us. Now he's off to cure cancer, feed the hungry and cloth third world countries.

I'm hoping to find a few extra we need for $10 on the street before the game--should be pretty easy.

Walk between gates 16 and 19 30 mins before kickoff. You will get great seats below face. If not, walk up to the ticket office outside gate 19 and buy them.

True, but there are 70,000 more available seats for this weeks game compared to the Vandy game.

I would recommend anyone worried about it to just buy the returned student tickets though, that are posted in that link. Good lower level seats for face value. Back when I lived up north the Thanksgiving weekend game was usually the only game I was able to go to and routinely got seats in the student section.

UT still has plenty of tickets available online at uttix.com and will have them at the box office Saturday.

Kentucky only bought 3,300 of their 9,500 alottment, so there are still many that UT has to sell.
