There is a reason they are walk on's ...do not have ideal measureables for their positions... Some work out, others play in mop up or are practice players

Ryeon Wedley, FB & LB, Humboldt HS, Humboldt, TN 5-10, 220, 4.60

Charles Folger, DE, Lincoln Co. HS, Lincolnton, GA
6-5, 218, 4.94

The kid from Humboldt is their valedictorian. One of his coaches said he is a great leader a very good athlete. Sounds like a perfect UT walk-on to me.

I know this. Walk-ons are true VFL's. They know they are not getting any scholarships, no playing time, still they choose to come here.... JMO though!!!

A good friend of mine's little brother is a RS freshman walk-on long snapper.
Hopefully we can all never learn the name Andrew Henry. The only way you ever learn the name of a long snapper is if he messed up.

My roommate at UT was a walkon from 1997-1999. He got all of the Adidas gear, bowl gifts, etc. Only got to dress on Sr day but got to run through the T and loved every minute. Oh forgot to mention, that he has a National Championship ring.

I would absolutely love to be a walkon. Dont care if i ever even made it into a game. Just to be on the same field with those guys and working hard to make our team better would be worth it. Had a buddy who got to be a priority walkon and only lasted a few weeks. Said it was too hard and the starters were too good. I was like well yeah, thats the point u big dummy.

Pretty sure Wedley had scholarship offers from smaller schools but chose to walk on at UT. Thats a guy that will "work like heck" to see the field. VFL IMO

Folger had an offer to be a preferred walk on at uga.also chose UT. Prolly pissed his home state school didnt offer.

Wasn't Nick Reviez, Kelly Washington and Brent Brewer Walk ons? I know the last 2 played baseball but you just never know. I'm sure there are more I just can't think of any right now
