You are so correct! And I predict that his name is Braxton Bonds!
And last year it would have been Brandon Lopez. You're on dangerous ground, Buzz! Last year, the mantra was there was no way in Hades that a walk-on could play significant minutes in the SEC. Argued that the whole summer up until the ACL injury. Ian Chiles was going to be the answer.

You conveniently leave out Ian Chiles' injuries as to why he didn't make an impact. I wonder why you didn't mention that?

Just so we are clear, you're both saying Bonds will be the starting PG over Turner? Can I get some action on that?

Did you misplace your reading glasses? Where did you see that I posted Braxton Bonds would be the starting pg on the team next season?

Go back to who I quoted and maybe you will be able to see 20-20 again!

Since you are interested in a little action, we can talk, only if it concerns the original post by Grandpop!

The original post by grandpop says Bonds will get "many more minutes this year than many of you think possible"...I think there's quite a few who feel he could see 10mpg, so "many more minutes", you're saying he sees what, 15, 20, 25 minutes per game?

Randy Moore had an article a few weeks ago in which he said he thought Bonds would be the backup PG and would probably get on average about 10 mins per game backing up Turner. That makes sense to me. I definitely think for Tennessee to win some this season that Turner will need to avg 30 mins per game.

I think Phillips will see PG time before Bonds. Phllips has played PG and he can score. But if Phillps plays more SG than PG, then Bonds get more minutes backing up Turner.

Try again Grandpop...

I predict a walk-on PG will get many more minutes this year than any of you think possible.

Here's my post which you question my reading ability...

wanna inform me where I was wrong? Is there another walk on PG besides Bonds in which you were referring to?

Is it just me or do we seem to have a lot of guys on this board who only played 1 year of high school ball that want to play for UT?!

This sounds as though many in this thread have very little respect for any walk-on to make a contribution, whatsoever. So I am surprised that all of a sudden some are saying that a walk-on would get as much as 10 minutes a game! Sounds like significant minutes to me.

The above poster seems disgusted that a student at UT would consider being a walk-on with only 1 year of hs bb experience. He failed to notice that the student only said he played hs ball one year ago. Who knows, he may have played organized ball since 7th grade.

You know what's more embarrassing than all the Tyndall love on here? Walking into a wall with an erection and breaking your nose :) (no, I didn't do that )
