I'm happy for the kid. He deserves it I'm sure. I also hope he helps out this year at DT.

Good for him! Someone mentioned just the other day when a pic of him from practice was posted..."How long has Folger been here?" Well, I guess long enough for a free ride for some of it. Congrats!

I think Folger is one of the players who has consistently made the honor role, and helped pull the average up when it looked like we were going under sanctions. So he has earned it in perhaps more ways than one.

Does anyone know with this announcement where we stand against the 85 scholarship limit for 2016? I assume that the incoming 25 limit takes no hit since this player is beyond a second year player?

Yeah, you are probably right. In fact, with Blair and Raulerson gone, there may be a couple more unless those have already been assigned to someone else.

EDIT: Special Ed might look forward to Folger being his new teacher.
