Today (well, tomorrow for me), we turn the college football world on its head.

We'll show the rest of the country what UT fans already knew: that we're the best team in the SEC, and we won't be denied this year!

Been trying to get over a cold and slept for 15 hours after work yesterday... game starts in about 12 for me, so I dunno if I'll be able to sleep either.

Though whether it's due to me oversleeping yesterday or my anticipation of the game, I can't say!

I'm working and won't be home until after 8 a.m. so I'm pretty sure I'm going to sleep until about 5 minutes before game time. I'm already struggling.

Today is the day my friends.

1 year ago we were on alaBubba turf, had the lead in the 4th quarter and were fighting hard.

The alaBummer fans were worried, you could see the fear on their faces as the clock wound down.

They were about to Lose to Tennessee on their own field.

1 of the longest and best rivalries in all of sports has always been the Tennessee vs alaBubba football game and now that damned Tennessee Vols team that had been so far down for almost a decade had risen back up and was punching the mighty tide in the mouth the entire game.

Late in the 4th quarter the ugly elephants scored and save the day for them.

Leaving their stadium every alaBubba fan knew for a fact that they had just gotten very lucky.

nick saTan and laMe kiffScum and all their players knew they had just gotten lucky.

They had just barely escaped by the skin of their teeth in the last minutes of the game.

The Tennessee Vols had risen back up and out played them in every stat including running the ball better then their heisTman trophy winner had done.

GONE were the days of Tennessee being a easy win for them, these Vols could fight, score, stop their drives and they were tough as nails and never gave up and quit.

For the entire last year the alaBummer fans have been worried and this season they watched Tennessee fight and come back and WIN every game until 7 turnovers last week made the Vols lose to themselves, aTm did NOT beat them, mistakes by the Vols beat themselves.

Even the AP voters were so totally impressed that the Vols did NOT drop down even 1 ranking from 9th place.

Today alaBubba must play in the always feared Neyland stadium, revered home of the Tennessee Vols where the UT fans get LOUD and can change the game by unreal fan noise.

Tide fans talk tough, pretend and act like they're not worried but even though the Vols have been without several of their top starters most all season the alaBubba fans ARE worried, they're scared again like they used to be back in the old days and they KNOW for a fact that even with several injuries the Tennessee Vols are a VERY dangerous team.

They know that Tennessee has the talent, grit and never quit attitude that the Vols CAN play and can WIN against any team in the country.

The real FEAR of the Tennessee Vols is back and living in the hearts of all players, coaches and fans of the number 1 team in the country because they finally again know...the UT Vols are a team that better be respected and feared and they won't back down to anyone especially to their top rival, the rolling Turd of alaBummer.

Today IS the day that a new WIN streak begins for the Tennessee footVol Team.

Team 120, earning respect and climbing the rankings WIN by WIN...VFL...GBO!!!

I know we are 13 point underdogs.
I know we are missing a bunch of important pieces especially on defense.
But, I spent more money than I wanted to just to be in that stadium today.
Why?, just in case.
Just in case it's one of those incredible moments that I can celebrate with my Vol family like I did in Athens 2 weeks ago.

But, even more importantly, I'm going as a thank you.
I want to thank Butch and the team for making my great University's football program legitimately relevant again on the national scene. :rock:
"I say it's great to be a Tennessee Vol."!

I'm up! Meeting my running buddy early so I can watch my vols this afternoon. It's gonna be a great day, I can feel it.
