VT fans talking about UT fans

Overall most of the VPI fans were dicks. Talking smack the entire walk to the stadium. I was surprised how much they were yapping. Not saying there weren't good Tech fans there because there were, I met some. The vast majority though were jerks.

We camped in Hicks Whitetop and had mostly good experiences. We were right next to some Hokies and they invited us over to eat. My boys and I made plates and they were really nice.
The college kids, however, on both sides (in my best Forrest Gump voice) "liked to say the F word". I can handle you saying "F... UT, Go Hokies", except when my 10 and 12 year old are with me. I did use it as a lesson for them though. Kept telling them to "act like we've been there" and to stay classy. I agree with others: I like beer, but I'm glad Neyland doesn't serve it.

Most of them were pretty mouthy when they were winning, but they shutup when they started losing. I was surprised how many of them left early. After the game there were a group of about 4 of them in a sea of orange yelling out "talk to us when you beat bama!!!" Kinda seemed like the kid who tells other kids that his dad will beat them up.

This young hottie (dressed in orange sun dress) sitting in my section gets up and per requested by the PA announcer at halftime, starts doing the Hokie Pokie and some VT fan starts yelling obscenities to her and next thing I know a couple guys stand up and confront him. The shooting continued until security showed up and broke it up.

I will give them credit, though, they did get pretty quiet. Most of them ended up looking like this a little over halfway through:

I try not to judge a teams entire fan base from the examples I may meet. I only need think about some of the people here to remind me that's unfair.

Surely that doesn't apply to Florida fans though.....they're universally despised.

....and yet I have met a few misguided souls that seem like decent folk other then the Gator abominations on their cars. You're right though, more often then not they seem to earn their reputation.

We parked at Hicks WT & there were a lot of Hokies there. I wasn't at all impressed with them. They were loud drunk & obnoxious
Not quite so loud & obnoxious AFTER the game!! 😂😂😂😂🏈‼️👍
I remember them from the 94 Gator Bowl not being too great either
Their fan base is the Florida of the ACC...
They've been good for 25 measly years & they think they invented football!

We visited with some folks in All-American.. next to them were a few Hokey Pokies.. the more this lady drank, she got louder & louder... stepped over our way and told one of our acquaintances, "We're going to annihilate you guys" and casually strolled off. Our friend said she didn't want to fight the woman, I said, "We can take her"... LOL I'd of ripped every one of her French tips off- yeah I'm a tough old broad, LOL ..
