VT fans talking about UT fans

I was just looking through their boards and came across a thread called UT fans. They were talking about our fan base and while overall it seems they liked us, some came across a few pains. This post though I thought summed up our fan base the best.

Wasn't at the game so i cant comment on that.
In real life most of the UT fans i know are pretty reserved and realistic.
From my experience their message board crew have been about 15% decent and 85% trash with very little middle ground.

You should've seen how vulgar the VT fans were towards anything Vols during the game last night. We get mad and stuff here but at least we can refrain, mostly, from using profanity.

The Tech fans I was around last night were obnoxious.

Ridiculous trash talk walking into the stadium. There was a group standing behind us in line, everyone was shoulder to shoulder and they were screaming at the top of their lungs. A young VA tech couple sat in front of us, her whole rear end was hanging out of her shorts and they were making out and groping each other the whole time.

They finally left and you could tell everyone was relieved.

Most of the Tech fans around us last night were really mouthy until the 3rd quarter started. Then they started to clear out. Overall tech is full of delusional a$$holes.

Nearly all of the Tech fans around me in the stands got really obnoxious after the first two scores, calling out vol fans and such. Just being loud and arrogant.

It was like they had a huge chip on their shoulder and thought they were about to get rid of it. Unfortunately for them we just dumped a load of salsa on it.

As for experiences outside of the stadium it was a mixed bag as always with some very good and very bad. Most of the bad was right before the game when everyone was trying to get in.

Overall their fans were very nice yesterday. I was around them a lot and didn't have one single problem

I lived in VA for 8yrs and have encountered enough VT fans to know they suck. They're like the kid talking trash at the Y whose only points come off snowbird layups.

LMAO!!! 😂 (You would have loved the overly tanned UT fans sporting circa 1990 acid washed cut offs with their a**** hanging out - especially the one with the bottom of her top looped through the neck to show her midriff.

In general they were fired up in the 1st qtr which was understandable. When they started hollering "you can't do that..(clap clap clap)"{sounded like DUKE BBALL fans} after our penalties in the 1st half, they could NOT handle some of our fans giving it back to them.

My biggest problem was at the Vol Walk before the game. VT had their own going on at the same time at the other end of the track. In the middle of the sea of orange awaiting our team some Hokie jerks came shouting trash in the middle of our crowd trying to incite a riot. I shouted back quit acting like Gator trash. As the route was getting cleared and roped off for our players I would say about 10 or so Hokies braved the gaunlet with a few of those showing their a$$.. That was my experience

I work with quite a few VT fans at UT MED CTR. and they were talking some serious trash when I walked out of my office Friday. Monday is gonna be pretty damn sweet when I see them again.

Had one Tech fan near me drunk off his a$$ and was bantering to all of us so when we went up he got pissed and wanted to fight everyone when we battered back......his woman yanked his leash and he left....the others were nice.

RV's camping out since Thurs + all day to get juiced up for game + 150K+ ppl... gonna' get a little bit of that...

Honestly, I personally don't give a "rat's a**" what a VT fan thinks or says about UT, UT fans, or me. I do enjoy reading about their comments though since some are humorous and some predictable. I always get a kick out of the gracious comments from other fans when the VOLS lose to them and the opposite if they lose.

I wasn't around any at the game, but tail gated around them all day in Rogers garden campground, and they were great! Had few that were mouthy, but most were awesome. We even ate with the VT guys that were roasting a pig, was delicious!!

For the most part the ones around me were really loud until we went ahead and they left fast.
