Absolutely, but every off-season they seem to nuke themselves. A fan, but every off-season they do something stupid. They hardly ever resign impact players!

We should have ran them out of town when they let Mason, Rolle, and McNair go to the Ravens, who were also able to afford Reed and Ray Lewis somehow.

Bud Adams was proof that you don’t have to be smart to win in the oil industry. His daughter is a chip off the old block.

And another thing: Some fools in Nashville decided building two football stadiums for the Adams family was better for the state than renovating Opryland.

I do tend to think 9-10 regular season wins is his ceiling and 8 will be his average going forward. That's my prediction, and I hope I am wrong. But surely you understand not wanting to go back to the 2010s. Beating Bama and Florida regularly is a lot better than where we've been. Still, I was moslty out on Heupel until he made changes at DC and S&C. Let's give him another year and reassess. Things *were* starting ot look like they were getting away from him though.

Come on dude, you see it. I talk positive about Heupel and certain guys tell me that I must be fine with mediocrity because I don't bitch and moan like they do. Now they say "hes a good coach but not elite, he'll win 9-10 games but never win any kind of championship, but......I don't want to fire him."

I'm just pointing out the dishonesty with some.

In the end I couldn't careless what anyone thinks they think they know. Nobody "knows" anything and if Heupel does win championships or he doesn't "we're all gonna find out at the same time". ~butchna

His "quitting" was still lightyears better than anything Ran/Callahan was able to produce......

Once again, people think that Vrabel's worst seasons were somehow a debacle...... The idea that Vrabel was thought to be incapable to handle a rebuild is just an asinine stance by some.

Vrable’s biggest problem was he was an a##hole and losing the last 2 years, he could have bought himself at least another 2 years if not for being a complete ass
