Would be cool if this is how they actually chose the teams. Leave it up to the fans.

I voted.

Would be sweet since I work about 3 minutes from the everbank stadium or whatever the heck they call it this year... And the Gator Bowl does have a precedence of bypassing local schools to get more revenue from those who travel.. but most believe it will be UF v PSU/Iowa... I also think the gator bowl would love to have UF here in year one of their new deal w/ sec-big ten.. that would be huge.. So Nashville here i come!

That'd be a 30 minute drive for me, I'd love to go to the Gator Bowl. Not happening though, 0% chance

I don't think there's any chance of this happening but, as stated earlier, it is better for UT. Based on some of the posts above, I guess MCB is better for the "tieam"!

We are going to the Music City and that is where we should go. This is the one time where the stars align perfect for Tennessee and the Music City we are a young promising team that needs the home crowd more than we need the gator bowl. It isn't happening anyway so everyone my as well get excited about the Music City which most are, this is what will energize the fan base a BIG ORANGE victory right in the heart of Tennessee! GO VOLS! May uf stink up the gator bowl all by themselves!

It's not about YOU. (or me, and I live near Nashville)

Better for the team and UT in general, bigger bowl, more $$$, recruiting Florida, etc.....

I thought all the money was pooled for the SEC then divided evenly?? It will have nothing to do with recruiting Florida and since when will a 6-6 team in a "bigger bowl" really matter??

I do not agree with you on this. :peace2:

Not really. It would not be any more $$$ since the SEC splits the bowl revenues evenly between all SEC schools including teams like Vandy who do not make it to bowls. It also may not help any more with recruiting beings there would be less TV competition for the MCB versus the Gator bowl.
