Because each vote counts for a certain amount of points. If he's left off so many ballots, he doesn't receive any points. He may have more 1st place votes, but he's got nowhere near as many total votes as Snead.

the more votes the better no matter if he moves up or not....who knows ESPN made bring it up on one of their shows and say Eric Berry has so many number 1 picks....Publicity doesnt hurt a Heisman Campaign ask Michigan

please tell me how berry has 681 first place votes, more than half of the others, yet he is still in 8th? that makes zero sense

+1 Just vote # 1.Eric Berry, # 2.Rolando McClain, #3.Taylor Mays, # 4.Jonathan Dwyer and I have been picking Snead for #5. Just vote for those or else you will be giving points to the other people on the list and we don't want them to gain any more points.
