With Bray having two 300 yard passing games in two starts as a Freshman, it got me wondering about 300 yard passing games by UT Freshmen.

I know Casey Clausen had one game of 360 or so. I had assumed that Ainge and Peyton at least had one game of over 300, but neither did. I just thought that this was interesting and puts a little perspective with Tyler's play to this point.

As to the poster above about Bray's back to back 300 yard games, I was wondering the same thing. Maybe somebody with infinite Vol knowledge could answer that? Has any Vol QB ever passed for 300 in 2 consecutive games? Let alone asa Freshman?

Well, when I looked through Peyton's stats, he had 7 consecutive 300 yard games in '97.
