Minus PW's current situation - it looks like we made it through the off season relatively unscathed.

Bruce and Oliver don't count. They were projects at best.

Great news for the team. Even better news for Von, he was not charged and now he is back doing what he loves, football.

PS: Von forget your other love; the ladies, till after draft day. VN fan's hearts can not stand the stress.

I've been high on Von since he committed. I just hope he will come back. You have to think about his side of this thing too. He can look at it as another chance, but could also be embarrassed by what happened.

Von was wrongly accused. With that said, for a young man, this could be the straw that breaks the camels back.

All in all, I really would love to see him return and prove himself!

This is a huge opportunity for him to prove his character. Speaking as a father of a daughter, prove you deserve the gifts you have been given, just like my father-in-law expected of me.

I had to work hard every year to re-earn my scholarship. I hope he does not ever take that as an assumed benefit.

+1 My thoughts exactly, but I just read this whole thread and I must say I'm somewhat disappointed
at thelack of typical judgmental comments we normally see around here about "learning a lesson... getting
his life in order.....blah blah blah" etc etc.

Okay I preface this with I'm glad he's back however I'm still not sure why? The fact that the situation still happened is still very bothersome. He's back because there wasn't quite enough evidence to have a strong case. It never said he was innocent of this. There had to be some sort of initial proof otherwise why would he have been immediately suspended from the team and not allowed back in school? Remember he is representing our University and we already have a target on us from the multiple incidents that have happened over the past few years. Good grief the there is a federal investigation going on now. I hope and pray that the female in this case is okay and that VP really didn't do anything to deserve this. CBJ is in charge and I'm trusting him to make the right decision for the school then team. JMHO

Go Vols and now the WR position is looking deep again with VP back and JJ playing well.
