Maybe you should also mention how awesomely well he was blocking in the game he got injured. He was giving an amazing block on a guy 20 yards downfield when his ankle got rolled.

looking to be blocking very well at all, i noticed in the usc game watching it many times over the last few days, pearsons blocking is horrible hopefully this will improve. i also would like to note i dont see pearson getting opponents off of his teammates after they are tackled like i do some of our other players. just a thought for discussion.

Didn't wanna be a cockblocker IMO.

Are we just randomly picking topics to try and pull down a player? I know you say it is just a topic for discussion, but do you not have anything on a neutral or positive topic to randomly pull from?

This! WTH!?

Let's put you in a fishbowl. How about "govols105's presentations at work are horrible hopefully this will improve." Or "govols105's parenting skills are horrible hopefully this will improve." What the #$@% is the purpose of posting such negative crap for thousands of people to read?

I'm sure if VP needs to work on his blocking both he and CZA are aware of it.

Pearson was injured blocking and was doing a great job on the play, blocking two guys. He's about the only guy on the offense besides Hurd who has consistently made people miss tackles. Gotta get him the ball more.

it was just to point at something that needs some work. if we are going to win out and be 8-5 with a bowl win. besides this is something to discuss besides dobbs over and over.

A valid point. There's a good chance that he's still not 100%.

He hasn't quite looked 100% to me, but in fairness I don't think he's had too many opportunities.

You realize we're all here to discuss UT football in a fishbowl, right? Since when is critiquing a player's blocking considered "negative crap." I'm not saying I agree with the thread topic, but come on. I think it's okay to discuss potential areas that might need improvement.

I remember the block Pearson whiffed on early in the game. I have no idea if that's a regular occurrence, though.

Pretty sure we recruited him for his ball catching and open field skills. Btw I think he may not be fully 100% from that high ankle sprain and may not wanna get rolled up on again. Just my thoughts.

Tennesseeduke

To much time on his hands, think about it pulling a victory out that might just prevail us back toward the top and rip a dude on his blocking.:yikes:

This is a fill in the blank thread.
Please try to stay on topic.
