Volunteers primed to upset Gators

A good read from ESPN and you guys still wanna doubt. Man, we have a chance to get on the right track with a win. I feel we can beat UF. We could have beat OU also, if the thunder hadn't came. We'll be fine, and I'll be there in Section U Row 54 cheering them on!!!!

When it was 13-3 and the vols dropped a duck in the backfield, I thought it was going to get UGLY for the ducks! If they didn't have such a fast paced offense, I think we win that game. I know there were many more variables that led to our demise, but the Vols hung tough for a while in that game. If we can start off fast, and limit our turnovers, this Florida game is VERY winnable. Florida's offense is a piece of doo-doo compared to oregons. Granted they have a stout defense, but I am confident if we come out and hit Brantley in the mouth on the first series Katey bar the
door. This is his first road game, it is in front of a loud amped up stadium, and our D has to be salavating. Vols win, and little urbie gets indegestion.

Wow. I never thought I'd hear Tennessee compared to App St. and James Madison. I think you guys have a chance this weekend... But our depth is going to be the thing that wins Florida this one.

I love the Vols, and I always think that we have a chance, but we ain't primed to upset anybody just yet. Gotta prove we can play good football against a quality opponent for longer than a half. Gotta make good decisions under pressure and not fold when the breaks don't go our way.

Anything is possible, however, and I'll be pulling for my Volunteers regardless. Go Vols!

I'm just praying it won't be a blow out. I don't know if my nerves can take another 48-13 loss.

i must live in alternate universe.

only in such an existence can having the worst loss ever at home be so promising, while winning by three touchdowns be a sure sign of future failure.

I dunno; once upon a time the UF message boards were full of Alligators posting about what a great hire Ron Zook was, despite appearances, and the dissenters who thought it was a crappy hire were shouted down for being too negative. People will talk themselves into anything where their college football team is concerned.

Also, can we just stop the whole, "crowd will be a factor" thing for a while? Or at least until a few weeks after suffering the worst home-loss EVER in the supposedly "intimidating" Neyland Stadium.

Whenever we say things like this, we are probably just someone's punch line later on.
