A lot of practice. A lot of trial and error. And you have to have an eye for what looks good. I usually have a picture in my mind of what a sig is going to look like before I ever start it. Sometimes you hit on a certain combo and it just turns out awesome.

sometimes? Sab. i've yet to see one i didn't like.
i like to think that the sig you made me is Tebow's worst nightmare.

Thanks for saying that. Means a lot. I see some all the time I'm not happy with. I fixed BDarnell's sig because I wasn't happy with the way it turned out. He had been using it for weeks.

I guess I'm just a perfectionist. :p

Your strive for perfection shows. A friend of mine at work has seen my sig and now is meddling with photoshop to see if he can make himself a Dolphin sig.

It didn't. Just thought I'd offer.

The sigs that turn out the best, for anyone thinking about requesting one in the future, are the ones where I have the least amount of specifications. The ones where someone wants these certain things on this certain picture with this lettering usually don't turn out as well. Yours was fine because I could pick any picture of the power T in really any stage of formation and with just one player, it makes it easier to position.

I also love that it has a lot of green in it. Makes it stand out from most of the others on the site. I still see things I could have done better...

The one you did with Smokey howling at the orange moon was sweet. But it looked a little blank. Like something was missing. Did you feel the same? Not trying to rag on you, because you're awesome, but I wanted to see what you thought of that one.

If you read my initial post of it, I was less than enthused with how it turned out. I would have liked the spots on Smokey to be more like hatches. It was missing something, but I was filling a specific request so I don't hold those to as high a standard as my other work.
