With football season beginning, I was wondering how many of you are like me, living somewhere other than the US.

If there are lot, we should share links to streams, podcasts, etc....any of the stuff that we miss by not being able to listen to local sports talk in the car or watch network TV on weekends.

Anyway...

Expat Volunteers, sound off!

Luckily, I signed up for ESPN3 before I left. It told me that since I signed up from an authorized provider, it would work anywhere. Gonna put that to the test, I'mma be IRATE if it don't.

(*note: I'm in Iraq*)

Well I'm hoping that I can stream games of espn 360 on the web. I'm deployed in Guam right now.
It sucks being 14 to 15 hrs ahead of everyone in the states

Greetings all. I'm in Germany (just back from Afghanistan) and I've suffered through the last two seasons of CFB away from everything. I got my fix last year from ESPN PPV. Paid per game $15 or so on my laptop. Not the same but it works. Thank goodness I'm back next year.

Dublin, Ireland for the last 10 years. ESPN 360 on the computer and ESPN America via satelite. I get to see about 5 games a year and listen to the rest on the radio via the internet.

I'm impressed with all of your dedication to the VOLS! It is reading this kind of stuff that makes me again realize this is the best group of fans in America (or the world I should say)

RW you don't know the half of it. I've deployed multiple times and have always been able to hook up with Vol fans at every deployed location. Been a mbr of VN for awhile now and it's gotten me through the dry times. Had you guys not been there it would have been ugly.

Wow, amazing! I never imagined there were so many. And so many soldiers/former soldiers, thanks to all of you for your service!

Peru, Guam Ireland, Germany, England, India...there are gonna be some folks watching games at strange hours in this bunch, heheh.

I'm in Prague, Czech Republic. I catch most games on streaming video. I'll definitely share links this year to anyone who needs them. I have some good sites that list games, just check in here about thirty mins before gametime. We can use this thread as a home base (if it stays up, at least).

Hi guys. I'm in Texas if that counts, but wanted to let you expats know that you should be able to see the games (even if delayed) at the SEC digital network. They usually have them up very soon after they're played and they have bunches of archived games if you are bored or homesick.

Try: Official Site of the Southeastern Conference

Just hit the SECVideo tab and then look on the lower left for the full games tab. You can then pick.

Cheers.

p.s. For me, the Montana game will be a challenge to get, because it's only on PPV. But I'm hopeful to get a link around gametime. If I get one, I'll post it up here.

TN, TX, Miami, Ole Miss, WV to name a few. Of course VN will be up on the laptop. If y'all holler so will we

Scott, where are you in Germany?

Ill be on here, for sure. I usually watch games alone, or with my gf. So I'll be streaming video and posting on forums.

The Montana game is now listed on ESPN-3.

OK, great. I thought it wasn't listed. That's good news for me, means someone will be streaming it for sure.

Hey All.
Been in Indonesia from 7-09 till 5-11. Internet was sooo bad...trying to listen to Kestling was bad enough but when the net "froze for 30 sec"....you can't imagine how bad it was on this lil' island. I was also in Kuwait and Iraq in '4-'5-'6... You can't know how hard that was tryin' to follow the VOLS.
To all my Bros overseas.......Be safe..
So glad I'm back home and I will be at the Montana game...God wilin"

I'm stationed in Germany. The Feds shut down most of the websites I used to stream games. This year I'm going with a proxy server.
