It still makes me sick thinking about watching Jones get the call from Vonn Bell last year. He was all excited thinking he was getting a 5* commitment, then looked disappointed and walked out of the room.

Hopefully things go better this time around.

I am more nervous for NSD than I even get for a game...Maybe it's just years of getting kicked in the nuts but I have a feeling we will lose someone that we need.

I remember when the recruiting pariah was Patrick Turner. now it seems to be Bell. Thankfully, Bell doesn't appear to be too big of a miss at this point.

Keep the commits we have now and add a couple unexpected and I will be drinking shots of Orange Koolaid.

I know where you're coming from. Fulmer's Black Monday seems like yesterday. However, other than Thomas I think we're in a good position for the first time in years.

Now, getting everyone eligible may be a different story.

I can't wait. I'll be following it all day.

I bet Butch has some sort of surprise planned for nsd.

It may be a surprise 14 player or maybe even a big commit for 15. Who knows, but I bet he tries to maximize the exposure of UT/the program somehow with espn being there to help keep the positive momentum going coming off this class and continuing toward what this staff has already created on the recruiting trail amongst 15 recruits and beyond. I hope it happens and it's one of the top headlines the entire day. Thou shalt not doubt Butch. :)

I doubt we get any unexpected. I don't consider Sawyers at this point unexpected. Most of the hay is in the barn.

I'm fine with no surprises on NSD, actually. Just get signatures from everyone currently committed and finish in the top 10.
