I would like to formally adopt the word "VOLSAW" for 2012 describing our unit as a football team. N.C. State was just cut down by our VOLSAW.. Now with a little luck for many years to come we will be picking them up and sawing them down. "Orange crush" is cool but I am stuck on "Volsaw". I can picture an avatar that looks like a transformer with a buzz saw as one arm (or chainsaw) and palming a football in the other hand sporting a big "T" on his chest standing on a mountain of other mascots with one foot on a gator's head and a decapitated elephant in the back ground with a tinted visor on his helmet looking slightly down......

Is anybody a good artist and could draw this avatar? I would buy it or could put it on a T shirt with some clever slogan like "Welcome all to Neyland Stadium the home of the Volsaw".

Hahaha, yeah I am eat up with the "Orange Fever" and excited about the possibilities to come..


I am sure somebody will have a smart a@# comment but help me out with other clever slogans or themes.. It is just great to be a Tennessee Vol..




I have been quiet and giving Dooley the benefit of the doubt but he has to perform this year and I think he will and If we stay healthy I think we have the opportunity to be mowing some teams down. Florida always seems to manage to pull one out of their butts no matter what but right now Coach Boom = Coach Doom and I think we stand a good chance to take care of business first with Georgia St. then the gators and take one win at a time. I think we will still have growing pains again this year but should finish a respectable 9-3 byut if we continue to improve 2013 could be our lucky number.... :loco:

Anybody with common sense know this but I am just saying:

R. Neal we love you but please run north and south instead of to the sidelines.

C.P. you are the real deal my friend and you just put a Da'rick who?? in the mouths of us all..

Our secondary needs to play like they did in the second half instead of leaving people wide open with nobody within 10 yards.

Good news....pretty sure it's yours to use as you see fit....Happy Volsaw to you!

Please find it in your heart to let CDD finish the year....some of us have confidence in this man and his vision.

Hmm, me saying I think he will perform and end up a respectable 9-3 isn't giving him good praise well then I don't know what is.. He had 2 years of mulligans due to situations out of his control.. This year is his time to start pulling us out of the hole and start seeing the light put a competitive team on that football field each Saturday.. So next week Georgia St. won't know what hit them until reading about the emergence of the VolSaw.. We take no prisioners.. :):):)
