I have in-laws in Blacksburg and they're saying Fuentes is off to a rocky start (excuse the pun) with the Hokie fanbase...

It's cool Scoob. I'm sure most of us UT fans appreciate you taking the time to find and post info about my beloved Vols or their opponents

Minor, a 6-foot-2, 221-pound redshirt sophomore from Ashland, informed Coach Justin Fuente he plans to continue his college career elsewhere. In 2014, Minor was considered by most recruiting analysts one of the nation's top 100 athlete prospects coming out of Benedictine High in Richmond.

He played in eight games last season, logging one tackle. He was working this preseason at weakside linebacker.

"We support him," Tech coach Justin Fuente said. "I want him to be happy and successful. This is a lot of work and he put in a lot of work. He worked really hard. We support him to go and have a better chance to get on the field in a bigger role or whatever it is that he’s looking for. We fully support him and wish him the best and we’re willing to help him in any way.”

LB Raymon Minor leaves Virginia Tech, former Tech RB/WR Joel Caleb ends up at Norfolk State - Daily Press

I'm glad he's leaving and all but actually I think I'd rather him stay...1 tackle in 8 games...hell most of Volnation could have logged 1 tackle in 8 games.

No, no, no. It is custom to attack the op regardless of the information in the thread, especially the more accurate the information!😁

He was a huge part of their 2014 class and expected to contribute a great deal this season. Geez get a grip on your sarcasm

He wasn't expected to contribute a great deal. According to all accounts he was buried on the depth chart after spring practice. He said himself he was going to try and find a school he could get more playing time at.

So dramatic. Nobody has attacked the OP. Didn't realize there were so many babies that can't handle a little sarcasm.

Yes! I was so mad at Kiffin because the team looked like they didn't prepare or care. We all know what happened the next month, which confirmed that.

That was the last game I watched with my grandmom, she died a week later. I was extremely pissed as well. No way we were prepared. Lane and the rest of the staff were looking for new places to live im sure. 🖕🏼

Can't wait to destroy the Chokies. I live in VA and all you hear about is how they are the greatest football program in the history of the universe.

We owe them payback from the 2009 Chick Fil A Bowl.

You mean when we had a "good in-game" coach, but our talent was at meh level? :) Followed by Dooley's tenure where we got even slower? We have fans hating on Butch, but we have gone 180 on athletic talent and are 2-0 in bowl games...matched up with opponents on the level of that VT squad.

Same but they've come back to reality recently. I always threw out strength of schedule back 5-10 years ago. The year Andrew Luck throttled them was the pinnacle.
