I'll party all day in atlanta getting ready for the game, eat dinner at a great mexican restaurant a couple of blocks from the dome, then head to the CNN center to pound down a few giant beers before game time, to get good and liquored up for a vol beatdown.

Perfect. Golf at 11 in Atlanta, shower, finish off a red bull and vodka in the shower, then head down to pregame somewhere.

I was really wishing that it was on a main channel. I thought it would help get recruits because it would be watched by everyone since its so early in the season and everyone is ready to watch football. For the recruits to see this high powered offense and the new defense would be great. Then I thought about it and the recruits will be playing Friday anyway so it doesn't really matter! GBO!!! VFL!!!

The U.S. Open Tennis rating will probably be higher than either the UT game the Boise-MSU game, so I don't think it's embarrassing at all.

Just because you don't watch a sport doesn't mean that no one watches it. As a TV sport, tennis rates very, very highly.

A lot of cable companies offer ESPNU now with their basic packages. A lot of people will still see it. Hopefully we give them something to talk about.

Not Comcast -- its 8 dollars a month more but its in a sports package --- so for 4 months I will get it -- then cancel it :good!:

Easiest drive for the season. I can't wait to see all the orange and white. Nice change from the red and black. Go Vols!

They are trying to rip you off, have had basic subscription to comcast for 5 years and I have ESPNU. I have lowest package available. They will do almost anything if you tell them you are going somewhere else.

Clemson locals had fun with me today saying we are the warm up fluff for their game. Kinda hoping we end up in the dome at the end of the year against them and have a repeat those other mountain folks gave them.

Ever been on a Caribbean cruise or a European trip?It isn't the same ESPN we get. It s/b called ESPN soccer for the SA or European channels content.

I give that a try -- I hate the crooks as it is, but no other service around here has ESPN3 on the internet except them.

I am torn. My nephew will be playing high school ball that night at seven against a rival. Guess i ll be dvr n this one :(
