I submit that this is partially a result of the worst passing offense since 1894.

Awesome stat. Line has improved greatly.
P.s. Debord still sucks as an OC, should be OL coach.

I remember when people were saying that they hated shotgun ran offenses and wished that we ran power out of an eye formation. We run power, its just in a different formation. We run over some really good defenses.

Definitely a result of a much improved O line and anemic passing game...that said, Jalen Hurd has been a phenomenal back for us, and I've loved watching him run the ball! Kudos to him.

And we could be even more impressive if we didn't run out of the formations that we do. IMHO, of course. The one-back delayed crap we do is a hindrance.

It works really well against a fast good defensive front. The statistics and results speak for themselves. I really enjoyed seeing Missouri's linemen running by Hurd, Kamara and Dobbs. Also the option was effective. No matter what some on this board say, we do not have some ignorant **** for a coach.

Congratulations to our OL, putting 248 rush yards against a defense ranked 13th nationally in that category is nothing to sneeze at and we got to witness first hand what CBJ means by Tennessee tough on both side of the ball, our guys were relentless. Three yards and a cloud of dust isn't exciting to watch but due to injuries to our WR coaches installed run heavy game plans. Looking back on the season in our league most teams had run heavy offenses.
Congratulations to Jalen Hurd as he became the second back to surpass 1,000 yards during CBJ's tenure, R. Neal was the first. AK15 will join JH in beast mode next year. :loco: Look for more balance if everyone stays healthy next year.

TN has three rushers in top 20 of SEC - Hurd 4th (1038); Kamara 14th (546) and Dobbs 16th (530). Kamara's avg of 6.8 yards per carry is 3rd in SEC. :good!:

One of SDS's predictions was that TN would have 3 700 yard rushers..they were close
