I get that. Maybe a little unfair, but within reason (KY, GA, VA, NC, TN), I’d expect more to attend a game here than “out of state.”

Congrats to the team for getting to a bowl, hopefully they will play hard and inspired. I wish the music city could get a better draw than what they do in the pecking order. It will never be a main destination when your picking from 6-6 mid level teams to fill out the ticket. But we could have won a few more and been to a higher bowl. But we have more to worry about than our opponent, we have to get better and improve and take advantage of the practice time. GBO!

While I see no difference in "best attraction" between Indiana and Louisville, the players are going to be less excited a out not getting to go to Florida. Who knows.

We shouldn't care about playing in Florida...just be glad we made a bowl this year and get win #8!!!!

First, the bowls pick not the schools and MCB had first pick.

Second, way way way more people choose to visit Nashville than Jacksonville every single year for vacation. Maybe you just don’t like the city but there is a ton of stuff for a young person to do downtown.

I can tell you for a fact attending the MCB isn't one of those things that people come to Nashville to do.. Lol I've been to several MCBs and it's depressing and cold and not attended. I get that this won't be the case with UT there but your argument really doesn't apply.

Look at the attendance for the last 4 Vols bowl games (quite easily done with google). You’d be wrong.
