Great stat. One I was unaware of.

It’s actually pretty incredible. You can either keep up with this offense or you can’t. But unless you are basically an NFL defense like UGA last year, Vols are putting up points.

It’s even held up in games that were track meets like Purdue last year.

I feel like part of the genius of CJH’s system is it sort of makes the opposing team beat themselves. There is a ton of pressure on them to score (and score TDs) every possession. Eating clock doesn’t work. You can’t make mistakes on offense, and obviously not on defense. It’s just constantly a lot of pressure.
