A total of 40 former Vols have won Super Bowl rings, which is a higher number than I would have guessed.

Jennings has a chance to add his name to the list tonight.

Lemme guess because of Kappernick lol
Not just Kap. I'm just wore out with the politics and wokeness. The attacks on the blue, military, flag, anthem. By design, NFL brought those in as a feature; then, turned their back. I turn on sports to break away from all that crap. Now it's half the show.

Also, players used to care about youth and the folks responsible for their livelihood. Too many now focus on themselves and the $. They'll walk past a kid with a jersey and a pen seeking an autograph. Didn't used to be that way.

The quality of our winners is what stands out. Peyton winning mvp, Malik scoring a defensive touchdown for the broncos, Reggie getting 3 sacks, Jamal Lewis rushing for 100+ yds as a rookie and being the youngest touchdown scorer in Super Bowl history. So many great performances.

I don't remember Marcus Nash even playing in the NFL, yet he's got 2 rings. Good for him.

I honestly don't believe any of that is true. Attacks on the military? Give me a break.

My comment was in the politicizing of sports. I'll let you do your own search. Try "NFL and military".

I'm just tired of the politics and division. Personally, I like the flag display, anthem (no hats), flyovers (favorite is B1B and F16s). Low enough I can feel the heat of blue afterburners.

I don't like taking a knee, disrespect, or pig socks (Sharpees are cool).

Tonight it's popcorn, beer and Second Hand Lions.

I didn’t realize Bill Bates was the only Vol with 3 rings.

Regardless of how you feel about the Chiefs, Trey Smith is the most likely Vol to tie Bates’ number of rings. What a story! Almost had to quit football for health reasons and now a 2-time SuperBowl champion.

I have to admit I was pulling for SFO so JJ could get a ring. Not only that but he would have also been MVP.

Respectfully, I disagree. JJ was responsible for two scores and keeping drives alive with critical receptions. Not to take anything away from McCaffrey, but JJ was the man for the 49ers.

Edit: No JJ pass, no McCaffery TD reception.
He was definitely worthy of it but McCaffrey had around 30 touches and almost 200 yds
