IIsaw how our defensive front seemed to get stronger as the game went on...

My question is, how strong Is KKentuckys offensive line?

I have watched their qb Towles this year and he seems to hold on to the ball a little long sometimes and doesn't run through his progressions like a top tier qb does. But the kid has moxie and can carry his team. Shows great accuracy with a strong arm. I think if we can't get pressure on him early while wearing down their line for a late in the game momentum shift play by a d lineman, we are in trouble... they outplayed ole miss and fla, two teams we struggled mightily against.

Let's hear It

Kentucky's OLine has been up and down all year. We were awful last week vs Mizzou. They have a great defense up front though, much better than a couple teams we played before.

At times Towles does make bad throws, usually a case where he decides where he wants to throw before he even gets the ball. Not great at looking off defenders in the secondary, but overall an accurate quarterback with some wheels. I wouldn't be shocked if next year with a better OLine he's an elite quarterback. Certainly an nfl type prospect imo with that size and skills.

I like Towles and the defensive effort. Reminds me of how UT has been in the past. Play good football but in the end run out of juice and just can't make enough plays. I hated they ccouldnt beat Florida.

Not gonna lie, this game scares me. UK has played well at times and held their own against teams I thought would kill them. I'm glad it's in Neyland.

I don't think so. I'm thinking another shootout is in the cards. Something like 35 - 28.

I could see a shoot out, but with a bye week,
I could actually see a great win by UT in this one. With Dobbs and Hurd playing so well together, and the option being so heavy of a burden for defenses to have to honor, I could see a 35-17, or 42-17. Honestly, depends on our Defense, but with a bye before we play them, and Kentuckys blue print for losing is on hand with Mizzou and probably Georgia (if they bounce back) I think we can bounce back defensively, and continue our hot offensive play, and win big at home. GO VOLS!!

We need this game worse than Kentucky:)

If I am Kentucky, it is not panic time just yet, but have you seen there last three games?? Georgia, @Tennessee, and then @Louisville. Not saying it is a guarantee, but man....I don't envy them. They could very easily lose all three of those and not go bowling.

With our improvement in the run game with the dual threat quarterback and the zone read as well as the jet sweeps gaining success; I'm wondering if UT might throw in a little bit of the speed option for one more different look. Lord knows USCjr taught us how to run it the right way last night.

UK on the road is much different than UK at home and I'm glad we have them at home. Final 31-21 UT
