So are we or are we not playing OSU? Is this a rumor or does it have some substance to it? Read the first few pages (3) and didn't see a definitive answer. Thanks to whoever can clear this up for me.

No, we are not going to play Ohio State.

Kiffin caused Urban a lot of stress in the fall of 2009. Accussed him of cheating and such. And therefore, Urban quit due to health reasons.

Keep dreaming.

Urban left because of Saban, if any coach. Kiffin left the year before Urban did.

I'd take Urban or Saban over any coach in my lifetime. I'm 39. They win. A lot.

I don't believe Urban left because of Kiffin. Someone else mentioned that theory and I was just attempting to answer the question.

I am a firm believer that Urban left due to the Florida fan base.

That's probably correct. Same reason Spurrier left.

Many would argue that Butch and UT are not exactly stiff competition for OSU and Meyer.

Maybe things will be different when//if these two programs actually meet.

I'd rather get them in a big bowl game and embarrass them, ruin their holiday, and ranking in one swoop.

I thought urban left due to heat reasons(had to get out of the kitchen).

My bad, too much pressure.

Many usually equals mindless sheep that can't think their way out of a paper bag. I would fully expect if recruiting continues the way that it has that we could compete with anyone in the country by the time we were supposed to play the Buckeyes in a home and home.

I agree

Please do then... Go pull for Saban and Meyer! Tennessee won't miss you.
