I can't see us killing you. We haven't really had any great bounce back games lately that I can think of.

it will be fairly close - at least for a half. I expect it to be sort of similar to Southern Miss. But - I wouldn;t be totally shocked if we came out totally flat and laid a big egg.

either the guys are going to give up on the season or they might come out pissed off but i really doubt that will happen

Arky State will keep it close for at least a half, if not more. I would say that by the end of the game we'll win something like 30-17. maybe closer

It's Arkansas State, guys...

Apparantley Florida is no less talented than they were last year.

Vols 37-20

The team will bounce back and win by a comfortable margin. As for boos they will be there regardless of how well the game goes cause most people are looking for anything to boo about....that is of course unless they all boycott the game.

UT 33 ASU 27. Depends on who gets the breaks as to who wins the game but the edge goes to UT cause our special teams are a thorn in our side right now except for our FG kicker who is pretty solid. We(ASU) are riding a BIG wave of confidence right now so it should be a good game.

I have a prediction for the game...

If ASU leads at the half, fans will boo LOUDLY and throw things..

If ASU wins, fans with torches and pitchforks will storm the football complex, complete with big log to break the door down, burn the facility to the ground, and the coaching staff will meet with a fate similar to that of Czar Nicholas I of Russia and his family.

I have been in Knoxville a LONG time, and I hever never felt a vibe this negative. There is a whole "South Central LA awaiting the Rodney King verdict" thing going on here:ermm:

Doh!!

That's embarassing!

lg, I keep thinking about that comment of yours before the game that "you wouldn't be surprised if..." in the week after the game, the bulk of volnation would turn its attention to basketball season. that was pretty spot-on, I guess. After this initial spell of colossal depression begins to wane a bit that is. I'm already starting to hope the b-ball team will lift the spirits of a state come tip-off. :crossfingers:
