As much as I like S. Jones, I would have rather taken Marques Ford or went after yet another stud DT or RB.

Jones is a great Qb. He has potential to be a special one.

You're right. But looking at their tape tells a different story. Jones is a much more polished QB.

'Expert' rankings are a very inexact science. Just because both are rated high doesn't mean they come in with similar skill sets. Hell, Peterman was a 4 star.

Watch Jones' video. He looks much more polished at the QB position ... Recruiting sites be damned.

This is more PR spin just as the DeBord PR spin. I am confident, if Jones hadn't signed them in the manner he did and utilized the timing he did, he would not have been able to sign these four quarterbacks.
