BallerVol - Noticed you were from OR. Thats my home town but I left a LONG time ago (74). Do the Wildcats have any D1 talent on this year's basketball team? How is the new coach doing?

Yes, they are ranked around 7th in the state. Aaron Green is the current coach and they play a Bruce Pearl style system (he coached at UT under him as a GA). To answer your question, there is one player who has the talent, but to be quite honest he hasn't put the work in needed to get to that level. I played with him a year, but even at his talent level he is still small. So, no they don't in my opinion, but they have played and beaten teams with D1 talent. They were beating Memphis Melrose to start the 4th but lost. I can't remember the team out of Virginia they beat but supposedly they had a D1 player or two. They lack size, but look for them to be in the hunt come tourny time. (lack of size will be their downfall i do believe. Tallest player is 6 foot 5)

Jr guard Jaylin Henderson has a good shot at a D1 offer. Coach greene's style fits OR's players alot better than the previous coach Wortman!!

ehhh I'd have to disagree, He is VERY gifted athletically, but I don't think he has done enough in high school ball to get too many big offers
